The swine flu vaccination programme has begun. The vaccine is being given to those at the greatest risk. The following groups are being offered the vaccine.
1. People aged between six months and 65 years who usually get the seasonal flu jab.
2. All pregnant women.
3. People who live with those whose immune systems are compromised, such as cancer patients or people with HIV/AIDS.
4. People aged 65 and over in the seasonal flu vaccine at-risk groups.
If you fall into one of these groups please contact the surgery for an appointment.
Please do not come to surgery if you think you have swine flu symptons.
